PETA to Kanye West: You Suck, Too!

Ah, so this is what has brought Kim Kardashian and Kanye West together: a shared enemy.
Not long after someone with a connection to PETA and an unhealthy affection for fur tossed flour all over Kardashian, the organization has come out and responded to a taunt from Kanye in his latest song, "Theraflu."

As you can hear above, West raps at one point in this new track: "Tell PETA my mink is draggin' on the floor."

And, because it just can't resists any opportunity to make a headline, PETA actually took the bait and replied, via the following statement by Senior Vice President Dan Mathews:

"What's draggin' on the floor is Kanye's reputation as a man with no empathy for animals or human beings. He's a great musician but doesn't seem to have the fashion sense to design anything more than caveman costumes. We keep hoping that one day he'll find his heart and join evolved style icons - including Russell Simmons, Pink and Natalie Portman - who have dropped animal skins."

Note to PETA: have you seen who Kanye is now dating? We're pretty sure he no longer cares about his reputation.

Amanda Bynes Arrested for DUI

Let's give Amanda Bynes credit: the actress didn't merely get arrested for DUI early this morning. She made her arrest count!*
As first reported by TMZ, Bynes was busted around 3 a.m. in West Hollywood after she attempted to pass a police car in hew BMW... and ended up side-swiping the vehicle!

Following this incident cops pulled the 26-year old over, determined she was not fit to be driving and hauled her into the station. She was released hours later on $5,000 bond.

* We are just kidding. No DUI arrest ever "counts" for anything positive. Stay alive, readers. Don't drink and drive.

LeAnn Rimes to Pen Tell-All Book?

LeAnn Rimes, country star and wife of Eddie Cibrian, is reportedly mulling a tell-all book in which she speaks candidly about romance, marriage and divorce.

The 29-year-old has been a celebrity gossip staple since her affair with now-husband Eddie Cibrian - a tryst that broke up both of their marriages at the time.

Rimes and Cibrian first fell in love in 2009 on the set of the Lifetime's Northern Lights. After a scrutinized courtship, LeAnn and Eddie married last April.

Rimes' rep is "putting out feelers" to find the right person to help write her autobiography and "tell LeAnn's side of the story in her own voice."

How juicy will it be? A publishing source says she "wants it to be a very honest book so she can speak directly to her fans and tell her side of the story."

"She's been through a lot of changes over the past few years," the insider adds, "and this is LeAnn's chance to speak candidly to her fans."

Also planning to write a book? Cibrian's ex-wife Brandi Glanville.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star tweeted last month that her story "has been a long time coming [and it's] about surviving divorce."

Will both ladies take the literary high road? Or would this reignite what has been an ongoing, intermittent feud for years? We'll have to stay tuned.

Lady Gaga LoveGame: Taylor Kinney Out, Luc Carl In?

Is there trouble in paradise for Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney? And is her ex-beau Luc Carl the cause of it all? According to a new tabloid report ... very possibly.
Yes, Gaga and Taylor recently went on a double date with Emmy Rossum and her BF, but Luc Carl has always held a special place in the singer's heart.
A source tells Radar that her fling with actor Kinney, a model/actor who has appeared on The Vampire Diaries, is cooling off after many months of bliss.
And guess what? Luc still has feelings for her.

“They never really gave up on each other: they’ve been talking a lot lately,” the source says of Carl, who recently authored a book called The Drunk Diet.
Seriously, he did. And he talks about their breakup in it.
"The breakup with my girlfriend was rock bottom," Luc explains in the book. "It took me about a week to realize she was right. I was f--king miserable."
The 26-year-old Gaga, who plugged Luc’s book to her 22 million Twitter followers March 25, is “impressed by how ambitious he’s become." Interesting.
“He wrote the book and is opening his own club,” the insider says, predicting that Luc and his longtime Lady will “probably end up together again.”
Having seen the error of his ways, whatever those were, he is expected to meet up with Gaga in their native NYC in the near future. Stay tuned.
