Ian Somerhalder on Fifty Shades of Grey Movie Casting: Bring It On!

Ian Somerhalder Speaks on Fifty Shades of Grey CastingIan Somerhalder is one of several stars talked about as a potentially great fit for Christian Grey in the upcoming film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.
He's leading THG's poll on the subject (below), as a matter of fact.
Asked about it on Ryan Seacrest's radio show Monday, The Vampire Diaries heart throb admitted he's heard the speculation about his casting, and approves.

Asked if he's interested in starring in the film, Ian said: “Potentially. I absolutely would be up for that. I have the book and I just started reading it."
"That would be a pretty incredible thing, and hopefully that could pan out. Yes, beyond the shadow of a doubt I think that would be a phenomenal opportunity!”
The best-selling book's protagonist, Anastasia Steele, and her troubled, controlling man, 27-year-old millionaire Christian Grey, will surely be sought-after roles.

Demi Lovato Speaks on Illicit Drug Use: I Could Have Died

A couple weeks ago on Twitter, Demi Lovato bared her true face.
Now, in the pages of British magazine Fabulous, the singer is baring her soul.
Demi Lovato in Fabulous
In one of her more honest interviews to date, the 19-year old goes into detail about her pre-rehab drug use, telling the publication:
"I was depressed. I would come offstage in front of 18,000 people and suddenly be alone in a hotel room. I'd come crashing down and would try to find a way to re-create that feeling, to stay 'up.'"
And you might be shocked to learn who fueled Demi's habit.
"Promoters gave me drugs and alcohol in restaurants or clubs," she said. "They wanted me to come back so I would be seen there. They were basically kissing my ass."
Lovato, of course, entered a treatment facility in November 2010 and has talked since about her emotional and physical issues, citing an eating disorder and bi-polarity. But this is the first time she's really discussed any kind of substance abuse.
"Being a celebrity can be dangerous. Nobody says 'no'. That's why so many end up overdosing and dying. It could definitely have happened to me."
Instead, thank God, Demi has bounced back and her career is going strong. She performed last month on American Idol.

Giuliana and Bill Rancic: Expecting!

Giuliana and Bill RancicAfter a long, emotional and often arduous process, Giuliana Rancic and husband Bill are finally expecting their first child! The little one is due in late summer via a gestational surrogate, which means the baby will be their genetic child.
"We are so thrilled that our prayers have been answered," the celebrity news anchor and Fashion Police member told E! this morning. Adds Bill, "We are absolutely ecstatic to be sharing this with everyone who has been following our journey."
Giuliana and Bill, whose struggles to conceive a baby have been well documented, and includes failed IVF treatments and a miscarriage, appeared on Monday's Today show to elaborate on the details behind the pregnancy.
Says Giuliana:
"We received an incredible amount of love and prayers from viewers around the world and we want to take this opportunity to thank every one of them."
"It was one of the best moments of my life, if not the best moment of my life. It's incredible. We've been trying for so long, we've been through so much. And to finally get that call from the doctor, it was just another world, another level."
"It was pretty emotional because this was our last stop," Bill added.
The announcement also follows several trying months that included Giuliana being diagnosed with breast cancer and undergoing a double mastectomy.
Three weeks ago, the couple appeared on Today and Giuliana gave an optimistic prognosis. "I'm good," she said, adding she didn't need chemotherapy.
"You do what the doctors tell you to do and it's going to be OK."
Bill also announced, even before the pregnancy, that the two planned to renew their vows this summer, "and take life on and look at it in a new light."
"One of the things we've always tried to do is help others with our story," the original Apprentice winner said. "Whether it's with infertility issues, whether it's with breast cancer, we said we're gonna turn these negatives into positives."
"And if we can help others by sharing our story, then it's worth it."
Keep it up, you two. And congratulations!

Khloe & Lamar Recap: An L.A. Story

This week on Khloe & Lamar, the tandem took a brief hiatus from having emotional talks about babies to get all emotional about Odom's return to L.A.
"I got a game coming up versus the L.A. Lakers, my former team," he says of his first game back. "It's going to be a little weird playing against them."
How did Lamar do against Kobe Bryant, Metta World Peace & Co.? It almost didn't matter, given the warm reception he was given at Staples Center.
What else went down in Tinseltown? On to Sunday's recap!
Lamar Odom and Kobe Bryant
Khloe Kardashian feels tense once they're back in their home and reality starts to sink in, saying, "I can't really imagine how that feels and the pressure." It doesn't compare to the paparazzi following you to the Ivy, no. Plus 20.

"He didn't even say 'How are you?' or 'How you're doing?' or 'Are you OK?' I'm the one who had to get up and move and go play for a different team." - Lamar to Khloe. Plus 10 for noticing and calling out that nonsense.
Khloe just doesn't how to help her husband get his head in the game and handle the tense situation. Two words: Hand ... nevermind. Minus 10 for us on that one.
Khadijah and Malika are doing a photo shoot and appear nude. Plus 25.
"I think it's time for some honest communication." - Malika. Jaw-dropping analysis! That's the best she could come up with? But Plus 5 because she's not wrong.
Khloe & Lamar Logo
Jamie walks in looking for his Lakers tickets. What a douche. Minus 20.
Khloe sets him straight, finally. Girl stands up for her man! Plus 20.
"Change is difficult, but at the end of the day, this is my guy. I want to be there for him and maybe I've been kind of selfish," he says. Attaboy. Plus 10.

Vanessa Williams Addresses Surprising Revelations In New Memoir

Vanessa Williams and her mother Helen discuss their writing process for their new book, ‘You Have No Idea,’ on Access Hollywood Live on April 20, 2012

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- In 1984, Vanessa Williams made history when she became the first African American to be crowned Miss America. But then came the nude photos (taken before the pageant), which were published in Penthouse. She eventually abdicated as Miss America.
That’s the scandal America knows, but there’s a lot more in the “Desperate Housewives” star’s life and – with her mom sitting right beside her – she opened up on Friday’s Access Hollywood Live.
“Actually, I read the book from cover to cover about a month ago the first time,” Helen Williams, Vanessa’s mom told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover, referring to Vanessa’s new memoir, “You Have No Idea: A Famous Daughter, Her No-nonsense Mother, and How They Survived Pageants, Hollywood, Love, Loss (and Each Other).”
“And you learned of a certain surprise in there-- something you did not know?” Billy asked.
“I didn’t know about the molestation that happened,” Helen said. “That’s in the book… I didn’t know about that. It’s probably a good thing I didn’t know about it at the time it happened.”
“She would have kicked some a**,” Vanessa added.
Vanessa wrote in her new book, that she was just 10-years-old, when she was molested by a teenager.
“You took a trip out to Orange County…” Billy said.
“With a family friend, and we stayed with their family friends. So we really didn’t know the other family,” Vanessa said.
“And an 18-year-old girl, while you were sleeping with your friend in her room, came and woke you up in the middle of the night and started to touch you, right?” Billy asked.
“Right,” Vanessa said.
“So many people have gone through that,” Billy said, thinking of the celebrities over the years who have revealed they were molested as children.
“I know, which is incredible,” she said. “Has everyone been molested? It’s ridiculous. Every time I hear a story like that, it just makes me crazy.”
Vanessa revealed she blocked out the memory until later on.
“It hit me when I was in college. I had a boyfriend and we were hanging out and [I said,] ‘I think I was molested,’” she recalled. “It didn’t scare me to the point where I couldn’t function, but I knew that, ‘Wow! That was not cool.’”
The former Miss America also revealed in her book that she had an abortion.
In the book, Vanessa said as a young person, she wasn’t squeaky clean, but a rebellious youngster, “who had experienced life, who had smoked pot, who had done a lot of things, who had a boyfriend, who had premarital sex. You know, I was one of those,” she said.
Vanessa admitted in her book to a forbidden teenage love affair with her childhood boyfriend, Bruce, who was the father of the aborted fetus. Their relationship was a constant thorn in the backside of her parents, especially the day Vanessa was busted home alone with Bruce when she was supposed to be at school.
“I went down and realized that two people were there in the house on the sofa,” Helen said. “So I turned off the music. Then it was like, ‘Oh, no. Mom’s here!’”
And as for Vanessa’s pot smoking days?
“By the way, I still have her little pipe,” Helen chimed in. “That, I found in her room.”
Why did mom save it?
“In case I need to pull it out to the kids some day and say, ‘This is what you shouldn’t do!’” Helen laughed.

Selena Gomez Calls Getting Called Out On The ‘Kiss Cam’ ‘So Embarrassing’

Selena Gomez’s ‘Yummy’ New Fragrance

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Like Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have become one of the latest celebrity couples to get caught at a professional sports game by the “Kiss Cam.”
“It was so embarrassing,” Selena told AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman earlier this week of when the Jumbotron at a Los Angeles Lakers game stopped on her and boyfriend, The Biebs.
“It was the ‘Kiss Cam,’” she said of the reason for the smooch in public. “It wasn’t our doing, it wasn’t my fault.
“That’s what you do, I guess,” she shrugged.
While the photo of their “Kiss Cam” smooch will last forever, one thing that leaves a lighter impression is Selena’s new self-titled fragrance.
“I like it to be light, but kind of have a musk to it so that it kind of lasts,” she said of the new perfume, which hits Macy’s in May.
And she told Laura that her beau gave it the thumbs up.
“Yeah, he likes it a lot,” she said.

‘Hunger Games’ Star Josh Hutcherson Will Miss Director Gary Ross

Josh Hutcherson is spotted at the LA Family Housing Awards 2012 at The Lot in West Hollywood, Calif. on April 19, 2012LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption “The Hunger Games” director Gary Ross will not be returning at the helm of the wildly popular film’s sequel, “Catching Fire,” and franchise star Josh Hutcherson says he’s sad to see him go.
“I’m going to miss Gary Ross — he was my guy on that movie,” Josh told Access Hollywood at the 23rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday, where the actor was honored with the Vanguard Award for his work with the anti-bullying campaign, Straight But Not Narrow. “You know, I think he really brought a lot to the movie.”
Although Josh (who plays the kind-hearted Peeta Mellark in the big screen adaptation of the Suzanne Collins novel) will miss having Gary at the helm, he has faith in Francis Lawrence, who has reportedly been offered the job of director for “Catching Fire.”
“They’re talking about making a deal with Francis Lawrence — he’s fantastic,” he told Access. “I think he’s a very talented director.”
As for being recognized by GLAAD (at just 19 years old, the handsome star is the youngest recipient of the Vanguard Award) Josh said he was “blown away” when he learned he had been chosen for the honor.
“I was shocked… it means a lot,” he said. “Equal rights for people has been a huge passion of mine since before I was even born, in my opinion, so to have people come out here and support me and this whole cause is fantastic.”
“Catching Fire” is slated to begin filming in August and will hit theaters on November 22, 2013.

Justin Bieber has spoken out against Mariah Yeater, the 20-year-old woman who accused him of getting her pregnant during an alleged backstage romp at one of his concerts.
During Justin's "RandomTwitterHour" (where the star posts "random" thoughts to his over 20 million followers), he mocked Yeater -- who dropped the paternity suit after a then-17-year-old Justin underwent a DNA test -- using a clip from Sacha Baron Cohen's "Borat" to get his point across.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 4 Premiere Recap: High Tides, Low Blows

The Real Housewives of New Jersey are back and the feuding continues, but this time they're leaving their McMansions and taking it down to the Jersey shore.
Let's assess all the cussing, name calling, and backstabbing in THG +/- review!
It looks like no one has talked much since Teresa Guidice's infamous cookbook came out. Between the digs about her being as Italian as the Olive Garden and rehashing her son's brilliant idea for a strip car wash, Caroline Manzo is still pretty ticked off.

The Real Housewives of NJ
The two women end up meeting at a party at Jacqueline's and Caroline's doing an admirable job of freezing Teresa out but Teresa wants to talk. She says she wants to clear the air. Minus 10 because why wait for a family party to do that?
Why not just pick up the phone or go on over to Caroline's? I suppose the show wouldn't be fun if any of it made sense.
So Teresa apologizes…sort of.
"I think you misread it because if you really read it good you'd realize I didn't insult you." Really?  hat's your idea of an apology? Telling someone you didn't read it good? Minus 15 and I'm not even counting the grammar issues.
Teresa just keeps repeating that it was all a joke but Teresa's the only one who finds it funny.
And apparently this is not a good time to be messing with Caroline. She's going though menopause and isn't thrilled when her doctor tells her she's getting old. Plus 8 because even she admits she may go super bitch on someone who crosses her right now.
